We manufacture a variety of plastic injection moulded products and components for companies from a broad range of industries, with particular expertise in the manufacture of engineering components, medical equipment components and point of sale display items.

Injection Moulding Plastics for Over 50 Years…
Skar was established in 1969 (making it one of the longest established plastic injection moulding companies in the UK) by Sidney Kibble and Arthur Reeve, who combined their initials to form the company’s name.
Skar has consistently grown through both innovation and acquisition, and is now based in 40,000 sq ft premises on a 2-acre site. We operate 35 machines, ranging from 25 – 450 tonne, operate a 24-hour production cycle and offer a full tooling service.
Quality Assured
Quality assurance and monitoring is built in to every aspect of our work. We are ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certified, and our quality management system incorporates full material batch traceability. We can also provide quality plans, Sample Inspection Reports (SIR), process capability studies and inspection documentation as required.
Our fully equipped inspection department includes both a state-of-the-art Smartscope non-contact measuring system and a Faro Gauge measuring arm, which allows us to undertake a detailed inspection of complex features and geometries of manufactured parts and compare them to the original 3D CAD model.
