Skar Precision Mouldings Ltd are very proud to have sponsored Daniel Gant to run in this year’s Virgin London Marathon which took part in April.
This was the first time Daniel had taken part in running a marathon and following so closely to the Boston marathon’s bombing only added to his nervousness in taking part. Many of the runners wore black ribbons or armbands in support of the Boston victims and a 30 second silence was also held before the race began.
We are pleased to announce that Daniel went on to successfully complete the full course in a time of 5 hours, 3 minutes and 28 seconds and in total he raised almost £2,000 for East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH).
